Stamped concrete patio

Q. Would bleach harm my outdoor stamped concrete patio? I have a pigeon who has made my patio his home and I want to clean the patio and bleach it to discourage the pigeon from returning. Also, is there a product that I can use to repair the cracks in my stamped concrete patio. Thank-you

A. I would not use bleach on your stamped concrete patio. The bleach will discolor the concrete and probably not discourage the pigeon from returning.

You can try a homemade bird repellent spray. This homemade spray will work much better than the bleach.

Fixing the cracks in the patio is usually best left to a professional. We use Sonolastic SL1 for exterior concrete crack repair.
