Pouring and Finishing Concrete Floors

If you're just starting out in the concrete business, I think one of the easiest ways to make money (profit) is to pour and finish concrete floors.

Why do I think that?

#1 - That's what I started out doing at the age of 15. It took me a couple months working for another concrete floor company to learn the skills required to be able to pour and finish (trowel) concrete floors.

There is a learning curve, just like anything new, but the skills needed can be learned fairly quickly if you're willing to watch and listen to whomever is teaching you.

After you've learned those skills, you've made yourself very valuable to someone like me who owns their own business OR you could start your own concrete flooring business.

Which is what I did at the age of 20!

If you're already in the concrete business and work for someone else, be willing to learn as much as possible about pouring and finishing concrete.

You could easily make between $20 - $40 dollars per hour depending on your skill level.

If you're really ambitious and driven, you could eventually start your own business and make a lot more.
